If You Think a Cow is a Cow, Think Again

This new France 2014 booklet features 12 different cows found in different French regions. Includes: Armoricaine, Béarnaise, Casta, Bordelaise, Bretonne Pie Noir, Ferrandaise, Lourdaise, Maraîchine, Mirandaise, Nantaise, Saosnoise and illard de Lans. These are all rare cows, protected and raised because they are part of the French patrimony. The don't produce as much as our modern cows, but are important nonetheless.
